Blog Every Day in August - 8/1/2011

It's been a while, hasn't it?

I am back, dear blog readers, to participate in another event where I must blog every day of the month. I was on the fence about participating this month, as I'm going on vacation to Europe for all of it. But then I received the lovely Toshiba netbook I am typing on, which solved all my problems.

Well, most of them.

See, in Poland I will be staying at my grandmother's house. Last time I was there, her TV still had an antenna and she used a rotary dial phone. This was two years ago. I am almost positive that she still doesn't have internet, which will be a shame I'll have to get over.

Instead, I'll still be blogging every day. I'll write posts on Word Pad, and post the next in line whenever I have internet. So this is more going to be me blogging every day in August and all three of you reading said blogs whenever such an occasion occurs:

A wild internet appeared!

I used "update blog."

It's super effective!

Speaking of, I finally got Pokemon White, which I will be able to play once we leave for the airport in a few hours. So that's nice. Not looking forward to the heat and thunderstorms, but you can't hug every cat.

Internet jokes. 0D

That about wraps it up for today. Just wanted to alert those who might be reading this that I will be blogging every day about my fabulous European adventures, but that the updates might not be every day. Hope this post finds you all well. ^-^

Blog Post

Post a blog, post a blog, everybody post a blog~

I'm leaning towards giving up. Or like. BSing this whole thing.

To be honest, who's reading this? Maybe one person? None? There are no comments. The Traffic is iffy. It's just me and my lonely, sometimes witty, maybe interesting blog posts.

So here's another blog post.

If you're out there, hi, I'm sorry you had to read this pitiful post.

If you're out there, make yourself known?

I feel like I'm talking to empty space. I could just pen this down in my writing notebook at this point. That way I'd have it forever and my notebook would be fuller.

So if you're reading this, mind commenting? Just to prove that you exist? Prove that this isn't purposeless?

This is purposeless.

For the Lulz, I Guess

I've never been good at a lot of things.

The main thing that comes to mind when I say this is my commitments to writing. I like writing. It's something I've liked from the moment I snapped out of the stage when everyone wants to be a princess or a veterinarian. But writing isn't easy; that's something I've learned through doing it.

I guess it's something that everyone learns if they choose to like writing. It's a tough thing to learn and it can hold a lot of tears. At first everything is easy. You can type up some crap without editing and publish it to the internet. However, everything seems to fall apart the moment someone sets you straight. A lot of people never learn, but some do. Some learn that writing takes time. That writing takes effort, and writing takes commitment.

I've been set straight about writing crap, but now that I have it's harder to keep on writing. I post a multi-chap on FanFiction dot net that requires a half a year of hiatus before I can write the second half, if it gets finished at all. And since age four I've had trouble keep a journal, writing a couple entries before taking a three month break.

So, after this, obviously the right move is to start a blog. No, I'm not serious, but I figured I might as well try this out. I can procrastinate on the story I currently have minimized, at the very least.

If anyone reads this, cool. If they don't, well, still cool. At least I'll have another thing to look at in a few years and laugh at the things I wrote.
