I've been trying to think of more creative title entries. As you can see, it's going very well. Very well indeed.
Yesterday wasn't the slow day. Today was the real slow day. After breakfast I went on the internet, basically. And did internet things. I also played some Pokemon White. A little after twelve, I went for a quick walk. Then, around one, we went to a "festival" a few blocks away.
Now, I was expecting an American-like festival. Like the small one on the town common back home, with a few little rides, some games, carnival food, etc.
...This was not that.
Essentially, this was meat, fries, potato salad, beer, and a bounce house. With some variations of those categories in there. OH, AND THE CAKES. Seriously, it was as if an army of housewives got together and baked their greatest cakes. I usually avoid desserts that don't have a list of ingredients attatched to them or were not homemade/made by a friend, but these just looked fantastic. And they tasted divine, as well. It was a shame that I could only fit one in my stomach after the sausage and fries and cola.
And we took a picture of me toasting my aunt's beer. We're going to tell my brother I drank it. 8D Hey, if we continue this trend of going to Europe every couple years, I'll be of legal drinking age next time. My mom would probably never let me, but it'd be worth a shot. 0D
When we got back, I read some more of The Hunger Games, a book I've been wanting to re-read for a very long time. I have so many fanfiction ideas for it now, but I need to work on my oneshot for the prompt "gambling." I don't really have anything else to say, so I think I'll go do that. XD
